Building an Online Academic Presence



Amid challenging times of COVID-19, the online world and its resources have become more crucial than ever before. Would you like to hear from experienced scholars about their tips and experiences in building their online academic presence? This webinar is designed to share strategies and ideas about the ways we can develop and manage our presence online by bringing as speakers Dr. Raúl Pacheco-Vega and Dr. Janice Gallagher.


Dr. Raul Pacheco-Vega is an Associate Professor at the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) Sede Mexico. He is an interdisciplinary scholar who is interested in issues related to natural resource governance. Besides his extensive academic work, Dr. Pacheco-Vega shares important resources for scholars in his different online platforms such as his website (raulpacheco.org), and Twitter account (@raulpacheco).


Dr. Janice Gallagher is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Rutgers University/Newark, who has been invested in understanding the role of organized citizens and informal institutions in judicial accountability and human rights compliance. She has her own website (janicekgallagher.com), and Twitter account (@janicegallagher).
