Presidential Fellowship

*Upon nomination of Graduate Program Directors.

Award: 

  • $10,000 annually for 3 years with satisfactory academic progress

  • Newly admitted GSN Ph.D. students

The Glasser Foundation Scholarship

*Upon nomination of Graduate Program Directors.

 Award:

  • $5000

​

Eligibility:

  • GSN master's students enrolled in the Peace & Conflict Studies program

Trustees Fellowship

*Upon nomination of Graduate Program Directors.

Award:

  • $10,000 stipend 

  • 6.0 credits in tuition remission per semester (excluding student and health fees)

  • ONE year award

  • New and continuing GSN master's students 

C. Beer & B. Komisaruk Endowed Fellowships

*Upon nomination of Graduate Program Directors.

Ralph Bunche Fellowship

*Upon nomination of Graduate Program Directors.

Award:

  • $10,000 stipend

  • 6.0 credits in tuition remission per semester (excluding student fees)

  • ONE year award

Eligibility:

  • Newly admitted full-time GSN Ph.D. and master's students

  • Strong academic backgrounds

  • U.S. citizen or permanent residents

Norman Samuels Fellowship

*Upon nomination of Graduate Program Directors.

Award:

  • Varies year to year

​

Eligibility:

  • Applicant accepted to a GSN Ph.D. program, but has not committed

  • Evidence of offers from other highly regarded graduate programs

Dean's Dissertation Fellowship

Award:

  • $30,000 stipend 

  • Graduate fellow health benefits

  • Awarded each spring semester

 

Eligibility: 

  • GSN Ph.D students at the dissertation writing stage

  • Students in good academic standing who have completed all coursework and research credits

Completion Requirement:

  • Fellows must be ready to defend their dissertation and complete all graduation requirements by April 1st of the award year.

Travel Grants

Award:​

  • Regional: up to $1000

  • National: up to $1200

  • International: up to $1500

 

Eligibility: ​​

  • Currently enrolled GSN Ph.D and master's students

​

Completion requirements:

  • All approved travel receipts must be submitted within 30 days after the conclusion of the event to receive reimbursement.

Masters Students Tuition Awards

*Upon nomination of Graduate Program Directors.

Award:​

  • Varies annually

  • Tuition remission

 

Eligibility: ​

  • GSN master's students enrolled in humanities and social sciences programs

Fall/Spring Special Scholarships

Award:​

  • Partial tuition awards

 

Eligibility: ​​

  • Currently enrolled GSN Ph.D and master's students 

  • Unfunded, meaning not receiving any institutional support

  • In good academic standing
